Phase III Development of Technopark

Chief
Minister inaugurated the commencement of work for the
Phase III development of Techno Park at Thiruvananthapuram
on 4th September 2008. Foundation stone for building
up a 110KV substation on the Techno park premises was
laid by the Chief Minister. On the occasion, Chief Minister
vouched that Techno park would soon be developed into
a premier I.T. park of the world with a built up area
of one crore Sq. feet and one lakh employees with the
completion of works in Phase III on an additional area
of 92 acres for bringing in more I.T. and ITES ventures.
Works on the Techno city, the projected I.T. township
conceived to be developed on a 507 acre campus, a birds’ flight
from Techno park would be started soon. Efforts are also
on to expand compatibilities of Info Park at Kochi.
