Joint Civil Military programme on National Security
The State Government is taking a basic initiative to combat threat to national security. With this perception the Institute of Management in Government in association with Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration has undertaken a Joint Civil Military Programme on National Security. Inaugurating the programme at IMG on 10th August 2009. Chief Minister said: “Civil and military are two pillars of our social system which provide the framework for national security. The coordination between these two is essential for addressing the present challenges.
” Around 30 officials including IAS and IPS officers from the State and Senior Officers are attending the 10-day training programme. It would discuss security aspects such as insurgency, terrorism, communalism, political extremism, corporate frauds as well as information, energy, coastal and space security. Senior officials from various sectors related to security are handling the different sessions. |
