The administrative sanction of Rs 521.2 crores was given for five drinking water projects whose first phase was completed for implementation through KIIFB. This was not included in the budget speech.
The Cabinet also approved the handing over of 5.18 acres of land owned by Prabhuram Mills, a public sector undertaking under KSTC to KINFRA, for setting up a Rice Technology Park.
The Private Industrial Estate Scheme 2022 containing guidelines for establishing private industrial parks and estates in the State were approved by the Cabinet with amendments. The purchase of the V Console video conferencing platform from Techgentsia was also approved.
Usage permission of 58.87 cents revenue land adjacent to Munderi Government Higher Secondary School at Kanjirode Village, Kannur Taluk, Kannur District, has been given to the public education department, for the functioning of the school library, school auditorium and vehicle parking, through the land transfer provision between the two service departments while sustaining the ownership with the revenue department
The cabinet approved the redeployment of literacy motivators working under the State Literacy Mission to the Local Self Government Department.
The Cabinet also approved the purchase of 20 vehicles for the Kerala Forest Department. Of this, 10 vehicles will be funded by the Finance Department and the remaining 10 vehicles from the CAMPA Fund.
The Cabinet approved the creation of nine Executive Assistant posts in the office of the District Development Commissioner under the Plan Implementation Assessment Monitoring Department on a three-year contract basis.
