With the amendment proposed by the Law Department regarding the procedures to be followed in conducting medical examinations of arrested persons and remand prisoners, the Cabinet approved the Medico-Legal Protocol.

The Cabinet also decided to set up separate courts in Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur by creating 12 posts each for hearing cases registered under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Permission was granted to change the method of appointment in the posts of Legal Adviser in the Crime Branch.

It has been decided to transfer the ownership of 1.6410 hectares of land in Peringom Village in Payyanur Taluk to the Collegiate Education department for the activities of Kannur Peringom Government College while retaining the ownership of the land with the Revenue Department. 

It has been decided to create 14 posts in the newly started Drugs Testing Laboratory at Konni in Pathanamthitta district under the Drugs Control Department.

Nursing Assistants at the Malabar Cancer Center and employees of the Kerala Institute of Labor and Employment (KILE) under the Labor Department will be given new salaries and benefits under the 11th pay revision.

It was also decided to allow the 10th pay revision benefits in C-APT.

Appointed Alexander IAS (retd.) as the Chairman and Managing Director of  Kerala Cashew Board Limited for three years.
