The Cabinet gave permission to KSRTC for taking loan of Rs 455 crore on 4% interest rate basis from KIFFB to buy 700 new CNG buses.

Monitoring Committees in Assembly Constituencies will be formed for tracking the implementation of various welfare schemes for SC-ST communities. The District SC Development Officer/ Assistant District SC Development Officer will preside over this. The elected MLA of the constituency will be the Chairman and the SC Development Officer will be the Convenor of these Committees. Members include: 1) President and Secretarie of the corresponding Local Body, 2) District Panchayat Members of the corresponding Division, 3) Local Body members from the SC, ST communities, 4) Project Officer/ Tribal Development Officer of the locality 5) The Engineering Department Heads from the corresponding Block/ Municipalities.

A house will be built under the Life Mission for the surrendered Maoist Lijesh alias Ramu from Karnataka for his rehabilitation to the society.

The Cabinet gave permission to grant loan scheme of Rs 45 crore through National Backward Classes FInance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC) to the members of the Artisans Development Co-operative Limited (ARTCO Limited) belonging to the backward communities under guarantee conditions.

The Cabinet has approved the recommendations of 4th Adminsitrative Commision’s 9th report.

Gave permission to create vacancies:
46 posts will be created in Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS)- 7 section officer posts, 28 assistants and 11 computer assistants).
36 teaching posts will be created in Kannur University.
One more Office Assistant post under contract tenure will be created in Kerala Real Estate Appellate Tribunal (KREAT).
The Deputy Director post in Information and Public Relations Department (created in 2018 under contract tenure) has been granted an extension for a further term.

Pay Revision
11th Pay Revision and benefits will be provided to the employees of both Kerala State Film Academy and Kerala Labour Welfare Fund Board.
