Gave Permission to the Local Bodies to kill Wild Boars
The Kerala Cabinet decided to permit the Local Bodies for killing the wild boars which inflict damage on agriculture, assets and life. Poisioning, eletrocution and use of bombs are strictly banned.
The Grama Panchayat President, Municipal Chairperson, and the Corporation Mayor can be appointed as Honorary Wildlife Warden under Government discretion. The WIldlife Warden in turn can appoint Panchayat Secretary, Municipal Secretary and Corporation Secretary as corresponding officers.
WIld Boars under small forest areas under 100 acres would be managed by the Forest Department itself. The corresponding officials have to ensure that no human, domestic animal and other wild animals are hurt during this culling mission. The carcass of the wildboar has to be scientifically cremated and the details need to be kept in the registers of the Local Bodies. Assistance of the People’s Vigilance Committees can be used for both killing and the cremation procedures.

The Pattern of the non-Managerial staff in Malabar Cements Limited is to be revised.
Land to be Allotted
The Cabinet decided to allot land to the Kerala State Backward Classes Development Corporation for building their headquarters.
Extended the Service Period
The Court Officer to Chief Justice of Kerala J. Upendranath’s service period has been extended to next two years.
Created Vacancies
Two posts- Project Coordinator, Junior Resource Person- will be created to monitor largescale projects in the State.
Permission for Land Use to construct ITI
80.94 acres of land under survey number 787/2 in Elappara village of Peerumedu Thaluk in Idukki will be retained under Revenue Department and be granted to Industrial Training for constructing Elappara ITI.
Bennichan Thomas appinted as the Head of Forest Department
The Cabinet decided to appoint Bennichan Thomas as the Head of Forest Department.
Temporary Post to be created
New temporary posts under the General Administration Department will be created in proportion to the KAS trainee appointments for giving wages and other benefits during the training period. These posts will become invalid with the completion of the training period. This will set the precedent for the future KAS appointments.
Stamp Duty and Registration Fee to be exempted
Stamp Duty and Registration Fee will be exempted for registering the land granted as part of the rehabilitation scheme of 32 affected families in Koottickal and Mundakkayam Panchayats in Kottayam which were hit with flood in October, 2021. 160 cents of land in Koottickal is to be given for the affected families.

A Legal Assistant in contract tenure will be appointed in Kerala Law Reforms Commission.
Concession in Shift Duty
M Sudheer, Binder in Thiruvananthapuram Government Central Press, will be given second shift duty concessions for three years as special case since he is joining for full time PhD.
Appointment on Compassionate Grounds
The Cabinet decided to appoint Shilpa Hari, sister of H Vysakh who was killed while serving the army in Jammu and Kashmir on 11.10.2021, in clerk post in Kollam under compassionate grounds.
To Include in PSC Act
The Cabinet approved the draft amendment to the Public Service Commission Act for including the appointments in Kerala Abkari Workers Welfare Fund Board under Kerala Public Service Commission.
Justified the Order
The order to extend the limit for Quarrying Lease and Permit of Quarries in the State during the Covid-19 has been justified.
The order of the State Disaster Management Department to desilt rivers and ensure unhindered flow before the monsoon in 2022 has been justified.
Authorised General Education Department Principal Secretary
The Cabinet decided to authorise General Education Department Principal Secretary for mediating with the Ministry of Defense to sign an agreement with the State in relation to the running of Kazhakkoottam Sainik School.
