Trawling Ban
•A 52-days ban on trawling, in the Kerala coast would come into force from 10th June to 31st July 2022
Assembly session would start from 27th June onwards
•It is decided to recommend Hon’ble Governor to conduct the next session of the Kerala State Legislative Assembly from 27th June 2022 onwards
SISF protection for places of worship
•It is decided to extend the protection of the State Industrial Security Force (SISF) for places of worship that solicit long-term security coverage, excluding the occasions which deem compulsory security cover by local police. The cost for such protection by SISF would be charged from the said places of worship at the same rate applicable to industrial entities that avail SISF security coverage.
Special court
•It is decided to give permission to establish an Additional District and Sessions Court (Special Court) to try the incident of Fireworks Blast that occurred at the Puttingal Devi Temple. It is further decided to create 10 posts for the aforesaid special court.
Compounding, blending and bottling Unit
•It is decided to establish a five-line I M F Compounding, Blending and Bottling Unit to produce Indian-made foreign liquor at the Malabar Distilleries Ltd, Chittoor, Palakkad, by using the funds of the Kerala State Beverage Development Corporation.
Pay revision
•It is decided to award the pay revision benefits to the permanent and co-terminus employees of the Kerala State Human Rights Commission as applicable to the state government employees.
Appointment
•It is decided to give reappointment to Mr. V Sivaramakrishnan as the Chief Executive Officer of the Vegetable and Fruit Promotion Council of Kerala
Creation of posts
•It is decided to create a post of ‘System Manager’ in the Kerala State Remote Sensing and Environment Centre.
•It is decided to create a temporary post of ‘Data Analyst/Research Officer to deliver the requirements of the Analytical Wing of State Good and Services Tax
Whetted
•It is decided to whet the nod given for extending the duration of Justice (Retd.) V K Mohanan Inquiry Commission, for a period of six months (with effect from 07/05/2022).
•It is decided to whet the nod given for appointing 28 more ‘Research Assistants’ in the High Court of Kerala
Regularisation of posts
•It is decided to regularise the posts of part-time Malayalam teachers in the Technical High Schools under the Technical Education Department
Government guarantee
•It is decided to extend a guarantee from the Government of Kerala for Rs. 30 crores to Kerala State Handicraft Development Corporation towards availing two loans worth Rs. 15 crores each from the National Minority Development Finance Corporation and National Scheduled Cast Development Finance Corporation.
Hiking of stake
•It is decided to hike the authorized share capital of Kerala State Scheduled Caste Development Finance Corporation from Rs. 200 crores to Rs. 300 crores.
•It is decided to convert an amount of Rs. 29.05 crores payable by the Kerala State Handicrafts Development Corporation, as the state government’s stake in the Corporation, which includes the loan amount of Rs. 15.31 crores and an interest amount of Rs. 13.74 crores.
