Approval Given for Establishing Nursing Colleges
Cabinet decided to give approval to establish Nursing Colleges for the Medical colleges in Kollam and Manjeri. 14 teaching posts and 22 non-teaching posts will be created for starting classes in these colleges in the 2022-23 academic year.
It has been decided to extend the 11th pay revision benefits to the permanent employees of C H Muhammed Koya Memorial State Institute for the Mentally Challenged in Pangappara.
Cabinet decided to revise the salary and allowances of government recognized posts in Kerala Kalamandalam Arts, Culture and Arts University.
Approved the 11th pay revision of non-academic staff of IMG.
The teachers/non-teachers who have been appointed in additional posts in aided schools of the state during the period 2011-12 to 2014-15 will be given protective benefits subject to conditions.
An order exempting the property tax for residential buildings occupied by retirees GREF, BRO under Indian Army or their wives or widows will be issued. This comes along with the decision by the cabinet to exempt property tax for residential buildings occupied by retirees of BSF, CRPF, CISF, SSB, ITBP central police forces. It is extended to the wives and widows of these retirees too.
The project proposals submitted by various departments to be included under RKI and further implementation are approved in principle.
In-principle approval was given for the implementation of project proposals like:
Setting up of primary water testing labs in 313 higher secondary schools in the state
Remaining construction works of Kootakadav regulator in Palakkad Anakkara Panchayat
Urgent reconstruction of check dam across Bharathapuzha at Vaniyamkulam in Mannanur and the protection works of the river bank here.
