In-Principle Approval for Kochi Sustainable Urban Renovation Project

In-principle approval is given to a sustainable urban renovation project, aimed at the development of Kochi through scientific modes and by restructuring land utilization. The project includes the development of the adjoining areas of the city such as Marine Drive, Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary, Vaduthala, Pachalam and areas across backwaters including Mulavukad island

A special purpose vehicle (SPV) will be formed for the time-bound implementation of the project. A General Body and project implementation committee will be formed to coordinate the task up to the submission of a detailed project report (DPR)

Session of Legislative Assembly
It is decided to request the Hon’ble Governor to convene the next Legislative Assembly session from 22 August onwards.

Financial assistance
An amount of Rs. 3 lakhs is sanctioned from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMDRF) as financial assistance to E. V. Prasanna, in Cheruvathoor, Kasargod, who is the mother of late Devananda, who died after consuming shawarma.

It is decided to bear the cost of treatment for the two fire service personnel, who got injured during the disaster management work at Mannarkkad, Palakkad, from the CMDRF. AS per the decision, Rs 2 lakhs to Sameer P and Rs 70.000 to Riyas P, will be released. The cost of follow-up treatment will be released as and when it is incurred.

Advocate C Jayachandran from Chengannur, Alappuzha district is appointed as a member of the Kerala Public Service Commission.

Government Guarantee
It is decided to provide a government guarantee for Auto-cast Limited to take loan up to Rs. 10 crores from Commercial Banks. The decision was taken by amending the earlier decision taken in this regard.

Whetted
It is decided to whet the Government Order dt 06/04/2022 brought out in accordance with the legal advice from the Law department and also as per the court verdict in the cases filed employees from various sections in Kerala State Beverages Corporation, against the staff pattern implemented vide GO dt 12/02/2021.

Land Utilisation Approval to build Mayyil Police Station Building
It is decided to give the approval to utilise 0.2061 hectors of land, currently owned by PWD Roads division to build its own building for Police Station, Mayyil, which is currently functioning in a rented building, subject to the norms for land transfer between various service departments and by handing over the ownership of the land to the Revenue department.
