Amendment in the Government Order regarding concessions on land ceiling
It was decided to amend the Government Orders stipulating guidelines and conditions in giving concessions to the Kerala Land Reforms Act 1963. The entire processing of the applications regarding this would be done, online.

The applications for such waiver as per section 81(3b) shall be submitted to the government within one month from the date of acquiring/ purchasing land. The government shall take a decision on this within a period of two months.

It was also decided to form a committee consisting of the Revenue minister, Minister in the respective department which implements the project, Chief Secretary, Revenue Secretary, and the Secretary of the respective department which implements the project.

Construction of Light-Metro for Kochi Metro Rail Ltd
It was decided to award the construction of Light-Metro/Metro Light projects implemented by the Kerala Rapid Transit Corporation Ltd in Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode and the construction of three flyovers to Metro Rail Ltd to the Kochi Metro Limited.
Kochi Metro Rail Ltd would be entrusted for the preparation of DPR as per the Central government guidelines for the light-Metro project being implemented in Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode

Pay revision for Water Authority employees
The salary and allowances of the Kerala Water Authority employees will be revised. The employees would receive the benefits of the pay revision as recommended by the 11th Pay Commission with effect from 1st July 2019 onwards.

Pay revision of the Kerala Sahitya Academy employees
The salary and allowances of the employees in the government-approved posts in the Kerala Sahitya Academy would be revised, subject to the norms regarding this.

New posts in Navakeralam II, IT Mission and salary revision in two existing posts of IT Mission
It was decided to create six posts under the Navakeralam project II. The appointments will be under the deputation/ contract basis.
A new post of ‘Head-Innovation and Research’ will be created under the Kerala State IT mission. The remuneration to the personnel in the post of ‘Head E-Governance’ and ‘Head-Technology’ would be increased.

Rent concession
It was decided to allow rent concession to the occupants of the shops, being run from the boat jetty building, Alappuzha owned by the State Water Transport Department for the lockdown period. The concession would be given to those who were unable to open the shop during the period between 24th March 2020 to 9th June 2020. The rent concession to the occupants of such shops, which were taken on rent would be given at the rate of 75%.
