Appreciation to Commonwealth Games winners
It was decided to award a cash prize of Rs. 20 lakhs to Eldhose Paul, who won the gold medal in the Commonwealth Games. Rs. 10 lakh each was sanctioned to Abdulla Aboobacker, M Sreeshankar, P R Sreejesh, Treesa Jolly and Chess Olympiad medal winner Nihal Sarin. S L Narayanan, who missed a medal in a close margin in Chess Olympiad was also sanctioned Rs 5 lakhs as a cash prize.
It was also decided to give appointments under the Government of Kerala to Eldhose Paul, Abdulla Aboobacker, M Sreeshankar and Treesa Jolly, by filling four from the total of 50 posts kept under the sports quota.

Onam gift to senior citizens from Scheduled Tribe communities
60,602 senior citizens from Scheduled Trible communities would be presented Rs. 1000/- each as the Chief Minister’s Onam Gift. The provision for this would be made from the Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund

Financial support
The financial support under Life Mission for the Scheduled Tribe Communities to construct houses within the settlements, areas close to settlements, and sensitive areas was increased to Rs. 6 lakhs and the order to this effect will be brought soon.

Pay revision
It was decided to provide the benefits as recommended by the 11th Pay Commission to the employees of Kerala Toddy Workers Welfare Board.

Waiver of stamp duty and registration fees
It was decided to give a waiver for stamp duty and registration fee worth Rs. 350 lakhs, to register the follow-up loan being taken from the State Bank of India, towards meeting urgent working capital requirements of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation.

Appointments under the Dying in Harness scheme
It was decided to give appointments under the Dying in Harness scheme to the sons of wildlife watchers who lost their lives while trying to control forest fire that erupted under the Poongode Forest Station in the Wadakkanchery range. Among them, K V Sudheesh, s/o late I K Velayudhan will be given appointment as Forest Watcher and V S Sharat, s/o late V A Shankaran will be given appointment as Office Attendant by creating a supernumerary post.

It was decided to give permanent appointment under the Dying in harness Scheme by creating a supernumerary post of Watcher, subject to the norms regarding this, to Smt. Chithra Devi, w/o Nagaraj, former a daily wages worker in Chinnar Wildlife division who was killed in elephant attack.

Administrative sanction
It was decided to award the administrative sanction to build an ‘Executive International Hostel block’ by expanding the existing hostel of the Kerala Digital University, by raising Rs. 27 crores through KIFFB.

Rs 5500 to the families from Vizhinjam, who are living in the camps
It was decided to give a monthly allowance of Rs 5500 to the families displaced from the Vizhinjam project area, due to coastal erosion and living in relief camps. The Revenue (Disaster Management), Fisheries and Finance departments will jointly find out the funds required for this immediately and distribute the amount to the beneficiaries.

The approval for the draft Bill
The nod for the draft Bill to repeal the Bill brought earlier to leave the appointments to the Wakf Board to the PSC, was given.
