Land for building apartment complex for fishermen
The cabinet has decided to handover land to the fisheries department towards making apartment complex to rehabilitate the fishermen from Thiruvananthapuram district. Eight acres from the 17.43 acre land owned by Diary Development Department in Muttathara village in Thiruvananthapuram district will be handed over to the Fisheries Department as per the norms for exchanging land between two service departments and by keeping the ownership of the land with the Revenue department.

Renewed administrative sanction
Renewed administrative sanction will be awarded to extend the Kochi Metro project from Pettah to Thrippunithura. The renewed administrative sanction for Rs. 131 crores includes, Rs. 123 crores as per the administrative sanction awarded last time as well as Rs. 8,10,28,411/- which is needed for acquisition of land.

The ownership of 1.4318 hectares of revenue land in Bheemanady village, Vellarikundu Taluk in Kasargode district, will be handed over to the Kerala Forest & Wildlife Department to compensate for the forestland acquired to construct the Kuthiran tunnel in the Vadakkenchetry-Thrissur stretch of National Highway.
