An ‘entrepreneurs’ conclave’ (Samrambhaka Mahasangamam) organised as part of ‘Samrambhaka Varsham’ project was inaugurated by Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan, hon’ble chief minister of Kerala on 21st January 2023 at Kochi. The entrepreneurs who have started ventures under ‘Samrambhaka Varsham’ project have taken part in the conclave organised at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium, Kochi.

Kerala’s ‘Samrambhaka Varsham’ project under which one lakh enterprises were launched in just 8 months has received wide acclaims nationally. The project was selected as the best practice in the country, in the national conference of state chief secretaries, which was presided over by the Shri. Narendra Modi, hon’ble Prime Minister of India. So far 1,22,080 enterprises, investment worth Rs. 7462.92 and 2,63,385 employment opportunities have been realised through the project. The ‘Samrambhaka Varsham’ project has created a new history in the country with its pioneering accomplishments such as the shorter time span taken to start enterprises, the quality of basic eco-system facilitated by the government and the number of women who came forward for entrepreneurship.
