New members in PSC
It was decided by the cabinet to recommend the names of Shri. K Prakashan and Shri. Jipsan M Paul as the members in the two existing vacancies in the Kerala Public Service Commission. Shri. K. Prakashan, hails from Chalod, Kannur is currently working as the District Planning Officer, Kannur. Shri. Jipsan M Paul is currently working as the Head of the Department of Political Science, St. Mary’s College, Sulthan Bathery.

Pension revision
In principle approval was given to revise the pension of the judicial officers who have retired from service between 01/01/1956 and 31/12/2005.

Whetted
The decision taken by the Kerala Coir Workers Welfare Fund Board to sanction special allowance of Rs.4000/- each to the 2461 workers who got infected with Covid-19, was whetted.

Creation of posts
Approval was given to create 23 posts in the State Health Agency on contract basis, subject to the relevant norms regarding this.
It was decided to create IT posts in the High Court of Kerala and District Courts
The order, brought out to create nine posts of sewaks in the High Court of Kerala, was whetted.
Administrative sanction was awarded to create two posts of special prosecutors in each of the special courts established in Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam to conduct trial in the cases registered under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Pay revision
It was decided to implement pay revision of employees in the Kerala State Homeopathic Cooperative Pharmacy (HOMCO), with effect from 01/07/2019.

Handing over of land to NISH
It was decided to hand over 9.75 acres of land in Attipra village, Thiruvanathapuram to the National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH). The land was acquired for and owned by Technopark, in which the NISH is currently functioning on lease basis. It was also decided to hand over the land to the Revenue department towards further transferring it to Social Justice department, by writing off Rs.1,86,82,700/- which is payable by NISH. The Revenue/Social Justice departments will be authorised to hand over the land to NISH.
