Government of Kerala will bear the cost of Deportation
The cabinet has decided to authorise the department of Non Resident Keralite Affairs (NORKA) to take the necessary steps to bring home the Malayalees being deported by the Centre from the conflict-affected Sudan upon their arrival in various Indian airports, at Kerala government’s cost .
Reappointment of junior English teachers
It was decided to give reappointment to 68 teachers who were retrenched from Higher Secondary English Junior Teacher posts in the General Education Department. The approval for continuation in service was given by creating 68 supernumerary posts for the period 1/06/2023 to 1/05/2025
Extension of tenure
The tenure of Kerala Fishermen Debt Relief Commission will be extended for one year from 28/04/2023 onwards. The full additional responsibility of Kerala Fishermen Debt Relief Commission will be given to Justice P.S.Gopinathan, Ombudsman for Local Self Government Institutions.
Creation of posts
It was decided to create a post of HSST (Arabic) in the Kadavthoor Vocational Higher Secondary School.
Approval to the amendment Bill
It was decided to approve the draft Kerala Medical Education (Regulation and Control of Admission to Private Medical Educational Institutions) Bill 2023.
