Additional documents will not be collected from extremely poor families
The requirement of documents to be furnished by the extremely poor families were simplified. The cabinet has decided to inform various departments that the additional documents such as income certificate shall not be asked for towards extending subsidies/financial assistance provided by government departments/allied institutions. This forms part of a host of measures being taken to simplify the process of ensuring the benefit of various schemes to extremely poor families.

New PSC members
The cabinet has decided to recommend to Governor to appoint Dr.Jose G.Dcruz and Adv.H.Josh as PSC members. The appointments were made to the existing vacancies.
Dr. Jose G. Dcruz, who is currently working as the Additional Director (Vigilance) in Directorate of Health Services. Adv.Josh hails from Thirumala, Thiruvananthapuram.
Dr.V.P.Joy is the Chairperson of Public Enterprises Selection and Recruitment Board
It was decided to appoint Dr.V.P.Joy, former Chief Secretary as the chairperson of Kerala Public Enterprises Selection and Recruitment Board.

Pay revision
It was decided to revise the salary and allied benefits of the employees of indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT) Kannur with retrospective effect from 01 /07/2019 onwards.
The salaries and allowances of government recognised posts in the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy will be revised as per the government order dated 0/02/2021 subject to relevant norms regarding this.
The permanent employees of Kerala Fishermen’s Welfare Fund Board would be given the 11th pay revision benefits, subject to relevant norms regarding this.
The employees of Kerala Urban & Rural Development Financial Corporation Limited will be given the 10th and 11th pay revision benefits, subject to relevant norms regarding this.
The employees of Thenmala Eco-Tourism Development Society will be given the pay revision benefits, which was sanctioned to government employees.
The decision taken to extend bonus, festival allowance and other benefits for the year 2012-22 to the employees of Kerala Feeds Limited, Kerala Livestock Development Board Limited, Meat Products of India limited and Kerala Poultry Development Corporation Limited, was whetted.

Appointments
It was decided to reappoint Palliyara Sridharan (the existing director), as the Director of the State Bala Sahitya Institute by giving relaxation in the age limit.
Reappointment was given to to Shri Murukan Kattakada as the Director of Malayalam Mission.

Approval of the draft Indian Partnership Act (Kerala Amendment) Bill 2023
It was decided to give approval to the draft Indian Partnership Act (Kerala Amendment) Bill 2023. The draft Bill was brought to hike the fees related to the Indian Partnership Act through amendment in the 1st schedule of Indian Partnership Act (Kerala Amendment) 1932 and to bring the Indian Partnership Act (Kerala Amendment) 2023.

The Kerala Imposition of Taxes (Amendment) Ordinance will be promulgated
It was decided to give approval to the Kerala Imposition of Taxes Act (Amendment) Ordinance. Recommendation regarding this will be submitted to the honourable governor.

The legislation will be brought to amend the Kerala Goods & Services Act 2017 as well as to establish Kerala GST Appellate Tribunal in accordance with the 2023 amendment in the Central Goods & Services Act brought through the Central Finance Act.

Post
A new post of section officer will be created in the Law department and said post will be transferred to the Ground Water department on working arrangement basis, as the department has got considerable number of litigations pending at various courts

Cancellation of the agreement
The government order brought out to transfer the ownership of 5 acres of land in the compound of Government Hospital of Dermatology, Chevayoor, which is currently owned by the department of Health to the department of Sports for constructing National Games Indoor Stadium. The transfer of land was cancelled as the said land is suppose to be used for establishing the International Organ Transplant Institute.
