570 posts will be created in Family Health Centres

570 posts will be created towards operationalizing the newly constructed Family Health Centres. Assistant Surgeon – 35, Nursing Officer grade II – 150, Pharmacist grade II – 250 and Lab Technician grade II – 135, are the posts to be created. Up on the completion of appointment procedures, essential posts will be created as the next phase. The Director, Department of Health was authorised to look into it and submit instructions on this. The department of Health & Family Welfare can decide posts required in each district except Assistant Surgeon posts.

To be leased out

28.57 Are of land in Kumbanad village, Adoor taluk in Pathanamthitta district, will be leased out to University of Kerala to construct own building for UIT Mannadi center working under University of Kerala.

Initial sanction

Initial sanction was extended to M/s Oasis Commercial Pvt. Ltd to start ethanol plant, multi-feed distillation unit, bottling unit of Indian made foreign liquor, brewery, malt spirit plant and brandy/winery plant, in Kanjikode, Palakkad district with a clause that existing instructions and guidelines should be complied with.

Republic day celebrations

Governor Rajendra Arlekar will take salute in the parade to be conducted by various forces as part of state level Republic Day celebrations in Thiruvananthapuram. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will participate in the function.

Approval for tender

The tender for drinking water project being implemented through Jal Jeevan Mission for Tanur Cheriyamundam panchayath, ‘2nd phase – work for distribution network in and providing water connections Cheriyamundam panchayath’, will be approved.

A not-for-profit company will be registered in the name of ‘Hydrogen Valley Innovation Cluster-Kerala’ for the Hydrogen Valley Innovation Cluster project by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.

Chairman & Managing Director (Chief Executive Officer-ANERT), representative from department of Science & Technology Government of India, representative of shareholders/partners of Hydrogen Valley Innovation Cluster (maximum 2), government representatives from Finance/Power departments and representatives from industry-private/public sector (maximum 2), will be included as Board Directors.

Distribution of assistance from the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund

Rs. 8,43,31,000/- has been distributed from the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund between 8th to 13th January 2025. 1817 is the number of beneficiaries from various districts.
